<p>This does not really affect Apple directly as they do not use Java.  They based the iOS on the MacOSX Cocoa Objective C language which is descended from the NEXT OS.</p>
<p>Apple has completely avoided this problem by building its own hardware and software in order to give users the best runtime experience possible.</p>
